Job Requirements

  • Must have sound financial and business acumen relevant to running a restaurant
  • Must graduate from manager training within allotted time and complete Assistant Patrao training
  • Friendly and polite with professional work ethic
  • Flexibility to work different job functions and shifts
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to give direction and create a cohesive team environment
  • Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
  • Must demonstrate understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures and coach team
  • Ability to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be able to work at any restaurant within the applied region
  • Must have or be able to get required food/alcohol licensing and maintain ongoing compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate from a manager training program with additional assistant Patrao training
  • Sound financial and business acumen relevant to restaurant management
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to give direction and create a cohesive team environment
  • Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
  • Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Food and alcohol licensing or ability to obtain and maintain it

Job Duties

  • Manage self by actively living the Nando's values and improving team performance through feedback
  • Promote and celebrate team successes and create a supportive culture on shift
  • Lead by coaching, training, and developing team members and future leaders
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations including food safety, order management, and facility maintenance
  • Collaborate with General Manager to manage financial metrics, forecasting, and operational improvements
  • Engage with guests and team to maintain high service standards and resolve issues promptly
  • Conduct shift handovers and maintain clear communication of issues and performance
