Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years previous hotel GM experience required
  • hotel or restaurant degree or equivalent experience required
  • experience in seasonal hotel operations or concessions preferred
  • excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills required
  • strong work ethic and commitment to the team and guest
  • ability to work solo or as part of a team
  • commitment to Safety First and highest cleaning and sanitizing standards

Job Duties

  • Manage all aspects of operations at a historic lodge or hotel
  • ensure safety and protection of property, guests, and team members
  • communicate frequently with VP and other central service areas
  • oversee all aspects of staff accommodation including vacancies, roster, and cleaning
  • lead weekly manager meetings
  • ensure managers have all necessary items to operate effectively and efficiently
  • keep record of potential safety and maintenance issues and ensure they are dealt with
  • offer assistance to guests and teammates where needed
  • be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties
