Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred or 4 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of experience and education

Job Duties

  • Assign duties to staff and observe performance to ensure adherence to hotel policies and established operating procedures
  • attract, retain, and motivate employees
  • hire, train, develop, empower, coach, and counsel staff
  • conduct performance and salary reviews
  • maintain accurate records and oversee month-end financial processes
  • assist in developing and managing annual budgets, marketing plans, forecasts, and objectives
  • conduct staff meetings and all associate meetings
  • oversee all hotel departments as directed by the General Manager
  • adhere to franchise, company, and standard operating procedures
  • receive and resolve guest complaints and employee issues
  • perform General Manager functions in their absence
  • cover shifts in all departments as scheduled
  • assist with sales and marketing efforts
  • answer inquiries related to hotel policies and services
  • lead and maintain the hotel safety program
  • support Front Office Manager with front desk operations including systems proficiency and team training
  • oversee food and beverage operations ensuring quality, service, inventory management, and budget compliance
  • review financial reports and implement cost control strategies
