Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in restaurant management or similar customer service leadership role
  • ServSafe certification or local/state required food safety certification
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • proficiency with point of sale and inventory systems
  • capacity to handle stressful situations productively
  • valid work authorization
  • willingness to comply with company dress and appearance policies

Job Qualifications

  • proven leadership and management experience in a fast-paced retail or restaurant environment

Job Duties

  • assist the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations and staff
  • ensure execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems
  • maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ethical business practices
  • participate in interviewing, recommending, selecting, and training Shift Managers and Crew Members
  • create and maintain an engaged employee environment and culture
  • train and reinforce food safety procedures to all staff
  • assist in meeting sales goals and participate in local marketing programs
  • manage food, labor, and other controllable costs
  • execute company policies for cash, property, product, and equipment control
  • maintain safe working conditions and preventive maintenance
  • achieve and maintain Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Customer Courtesy standards
  • manage human resources programs and promote crew retention
  • develop staffing and recruiting plans
  • train and mentor Shift Managers and Crew Members
  • ensure compliance with company systems and operating procedures
  • anticipate and resolve operational problems
  • perform other related duties as assigned
