Job Requirements
- 3+ years of restaurant/retail management experience
- Assist with profit and loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, labor management, and reviewing financial reports
- Ensure all employees receive proper training and resources
- Champion Taco Bell's culture and values, promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging in the restaurant
- Lead efforts in individual and team recognition, collaboration, and motivation
- Identify and recruit exceptional talent supporting the General Manager in the hiring process
- Possess strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action, and motivating and training employees
- Adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Experience assisting with profit and loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, labor management, and reviewing financial reports
- Strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action, and motivating and training employees
- Ability to lead and inspire teams, promoting collaboration and motivation
- Commitment to promoting a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Proven experience in sourcing, recruiting, and hiring talent
- Knowledge of corporate policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Food Safety standards
- Ability to work a 50-hour week
- Leadership skills to act decisively in the General Manager's absence
Job Duties
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
- Oversee team members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold Core excellence
- Take charge of restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence
- Collaborate with the General Manager in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback
- Address employee relations issues, determine immediate resolutions, or escalate to the General Manager when necessary
- Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members while promoting a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging
- Assist with profit and loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management
- Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
- Support the General Manager in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed
