Job Duties

- delegate work effectively and manage timelines to meet deadlines
- ensure compliance with restaurant policies procedures and training completion
- monitor adherence to health and fire regulations and building maintenance
- achieve sales service quality appearance sanitation and cleanliness objectives
- monitor food preparation methods portion sizes and presentation
- ensure compliance with all health safety alcohol sales and labor regulations
- control cash receipts and cash handling procedures
- count money and make bank deposits
- investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality service or accommodations
- coordinate assignments of cooking personnel for economical use of food and timely preparation
- verify correct unit count and condition of received products and deliveries
- review financial sales and performance data to measure productivity and identify improvements
- schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries checking quality and quantity
- monitor budgets payroll and financial transactions for authorized expenditures
- maintain food and equipment inventories and records
- schedule staff hours and assign duties
- establish performance standards for personnel and customer service
- perform food preparation or service tasks as needed
- develop weekly planner for management consistency and development
- keep sanitation and subsidy records required by government agencies
- test food for palatability and flavor conformity
- organize worker training resolve personnel problems and evaluate performance
- apply restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer corrective actions
- develop staff in managerial and professional areas
- order and purchase supplies
- review work procedures operations for service performance and safety improvements
- assess staffing needs and recruit staff
- arrange equipment maintenance and coordinate services like waste removal and pest control
- track item sales cost to analyze popularity and profitability
- create best game day atmosphere
- attend management meetings and suggest improvements
- assist fellow employees to meet guest needs and support operations

- move tables chairs to accommodate guests
