Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • delegate work effectively and manage timelines
  • ensure compliance with restaurant policies and training requirements
  • monitor compliance with health and fire regulations
  • achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, cleanliness and sanitation through employee training and environment management
  • monitor food preparation methods and presentation
  • ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, alcohol sales and labor regulations
  • control cash and receipts following cash handling procedures
  • count money and make bank deposits
  • investigate and resolve complaints about food quality or service
  • coordinate cooking personnel assignments for efficiency
  • ensure correct receipt and condition of products
  • review financial and sales reports to measure productivity and identify improvements
  • schedule and check food and beverage deliveries
  • monitor budgets and payroll
  • maintain inventory records
  • schedule staff and assign duties
  • establish performance standards for personnel and customer service
  • perform food preparation or service tasks as needed
  • develop weekly management plans
  • maintain sanitation and food subsidy records
  • test food for quality
  • organize training programs and manage personnel issues
