Job Requirements
- Education and experience equivalent to 4+ years hotel management at Department Head level or above
- Experience in full service hotel operations
- Ability to lead and develop teams while achieving operational goals
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Competency in MS Office and hotel management systems
- Financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform job functions throughout the hotel
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years hotel management experience at Department Head level or higher
- Experience in full service hotel operations
- Proven ability to build cohesive teams and foster a culture of accountability
- Strong managerial skills including decision making, negotiation, planning, and organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in preparing complex occupancy reports
- Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Understanding of hotel systems preferred
- Financial management skills including understanding P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and scheduling
Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring they meet brand and company standards
- Oversee hotel departments to provide optimal guest service and hospitality
- Assist General Manager in forecasting, budgeting, and financial report preparation
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve service quality
- Resolve customer complaints and anticipate operational issues
- Ensure internal audit standards are met
- Collaborate with sales staff to implement sales strategies for occupancy and revenue growth
