Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Proven experience in managing financial aspects such as cash control, inventory, and labor
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to handle employee relations and disciplinary actions
  • Knowledge of health and food safety standards
  • Willingness to work 50 hours per week including overtime

Job Qualifications

  • Three plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
  • Strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, discipline, motivation, and training
  • Experience in recruitment and hiring processes
  • Ability to manage employee relations and resolve conflicts
  • Understanding of Profit and Loss management including cash control, inventory, and labor management
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and food safety standards
  • Commitment to fostering equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace

Job Duties

  • Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
  • Oversee Team Members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold Core excellence
  • Take charge of restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence
  • Collaborate with the General Manager in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback
  • Address employee relations issues, determine immediate resolutions, or escalate to the General Manager when necessary
  • Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Team Members
  • Act like an owner by assisting with Profit and Loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management
  • Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
  • Support the General Manager in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed
