Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in upscale hospitality
- Experience with hotel PMS and POS systems
- Knowledge of cloud-based applications
- Ability to stand frequently and walk around the property
- Ability to assist with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work with diverse guests and employees
- Ability to perform administrative tasks accurately
- Must be able to hear and see well enough to perform job functions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years equivalent experience in upscale hospitality environment
- Previous experience with hotel PMS and POS systems
- Working knowledge of cloud-based applications
- Knowledge of Google Suite products preferred
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
- Strong management and relational skills
- Excellent and attentive customer service
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team
- Ability to negotiate and resolve difficult situations
Job Duties
- Support the General Manager in ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations
- Provide high-quality service and uncompromising hospitality
- Manage a multicultural team embracing diversity
- Oversee housekeeping supervisor and housekeeping team
- Manage PMS and associated technological systems
- Oversee Retail Shop ensuring proper stocking and setup
- Interview, hire, train, and develop associates
- Communicate daily operations and events to associates
- Ensure proper logging of time and PTO, and adherence to meal period laws
- Monitor associate performance, conduct evaluations and provide recognition
- Support General Manager with human resource issues and disciplinary actions
- Lead departments in achieving financial and business goals within operating budgets
- Ensure adherence to AutoCamp standards, procedures, and policies
- Be knowledgeable of emergency plans and safety practices
- Report unusual occurrences to General Manager and submit compliance reports
- Develop and implement plans to improve guest satisfaction and associate performance
- Create memorable check-in and check-out experiences
- Communicate with department leads on audits and controls
- Balance daily transactions and report figures to corporate headquarters
- Know facility operations and hours
- Communicate with sales coordinator on sales strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
- Support General Manager in oversight of department supervisors and associates
