Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
  • or two-year degree in related field with minimum two years experience
  • strong leadership and operational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of brand standards and hospitality operations
  • ability to manage financial responsibilities
  • understanding of workplace safety regulations
  • capability to coach and develop employees
  • proficiency with scheduling and performance management software

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with four years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major with two years of related experience

  • knowledge of brand standards and customer service principles
  • ability to manage financial and accounting processes
  • familiarity with OSHA regulations and workplace safety

Job Duties

  • Support operational and financial management of the property
  • verify all brand standards are maintained
  • manage operations of all property departments
  • promote Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies
  • maintain a viable key control program
  • ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • provide a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA/MSDS
  • manage finance and accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and banking
  • review financial statements and performance data for cost reduction and improvement
  • comply with corporate accounting procedures
  • perform annual quality audits with General Manager and Regional Director
  • stay readily available and approachable for employees
  • demonstrate professionalism and lead by example
  • assist with team scheduling and ensure staffing levels meet guest expectations
  • set performance expectations with General Manager
  • assist supervisors with coaching and counseling
  • solicit feedback for continuous improvement
  • extend professionalism and courtesy to guests
  • motivate staff to resolve guest and employee concerns
  • provide excellent customer service and be approachable
  • take proactive approaches to guest concerns
  • help employees understand and exceed guest expectations
  • verify thorough orientation for new team members
  • handle employee concerns proactively
  • ensure hiring practices comply with I-9 and EEO requirements
  • promote a culturally diverse workplace
  • perform other duties as assigned and needed
