Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work varied shifts including openings, busy day parts, and closings
- knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
- familiarity with HACCP standards and compliance
- ability to monitor and manage staff activities
- ability to resolve customer and associate issues
- adherence to adult beverage policies
- physically able to perform job duties

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of food and beverage experience
- minimum 6 years of cash handling experience
- minimum 6 years of customer service experience
- minimum 4 years of supervisory or lead experience in casual dining or production kitchen
- ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- strong communication skills
- experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments
- knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Duties
- Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists according to company policies and procedures
- assists General Manager or Food & Beverage Multi Unit Manager in supervising day-to-day activities of associates within defined restaurants or points-of-sale
- interviews job candidates and makes hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, or status change decisions
- promotes HMSHost as an employer of choice within the local community
- reads and understands financial and operational reports to monitor progress towards unit goals and assigns associates accordingly
- manages day-to-day activities of associates and ensures all shifts are covered
- enforces company and branch diversity and inclusion philosophy
- resolves customer and associate questions and problems, escalating complex issues as necessary
- enforces compliance with all adult beverage policies and ensures staff adherence
- assigns work tasks and prepares schedules
- ensures associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
- maintains clean, stocked, and visually appealing display areas
- ensures all equipment is in good working order
- operates cash register and voids transactions following cash handling policies
- monitors compliance with wellness and safety procedures, reports safety concerns
- performs health and safety activities as specified in company guides
- places orders, receives goods, and processes invoices
- maintains current contact information for all associates.
