Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
- Or 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field
- 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area
- Open availability and flexibility of schedule
- Ability to work full time in Tukwila, Washington
- Management experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related area or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years experience
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and brand standards
- Experience in financial management and budgeting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach and develop teams
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations
- Customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Verify that all brand standards are maintained in each area of the property
- Manage the operation of all property departments
- Promote Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies
- Maintain current licenses and permits as prescribed by local, state and federal agencies
- Provide a safe working environment in compliance with OSHA/MSDS
- Manage all finance and accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, payroll and ordering procedures
- Review financial statements, sales and activity reports to measure productivity and determine areas for improvement
- Assist and teach team managers scheduling against guest and hours/occupied room goals
- Lead by example demonstrating self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm
- Assist team supervisors with coaching and counseling
- Motivate and encourage staff to solve guest and employee related concerns
- Ensure thorough and timely orientations for new team members
- Verify that property hiring practices comply with I-9 and EEO requirements
