Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of Assistant General Manager experience or three years of related experience
- Proficiency in computer skills including email communication and data manipulation
- Experience with hotel information systems required
- Strong operational leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement operational strategies
- Knowledge of HR processes including onboarding
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least one year of related Assistant General Manager experience
- High school diploma or equivalent with at least three years of related experience
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
- Proficient computer skills including effective email communication and data analysis
- Experience with hotel information systems such as Opera and M3
- Solid operations management experience within Select Service and/or Extended Stay properties
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead teams in a fast-paced hospitality environment
Job Duties
- Provide strong leadership support to the General Manager in maintaining and enhancing Hotel Brand Standards to increase Guest Satisfaction
- Execute Accounts Receivable and Payable duties within the first 30 days
- Become familiar with and manage HR processes, including new hire onboarding within the first 30 days
- Develop and implement staff optimization plans for leaders and staff to ensure clarity in mission and tools for excellent service
- Foster direct reports' cohesion and maximize individual potential
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution on the floor
- Collaborate effectively with Hotel General Manager, corporate staff, and ownership groups
