Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least one year experience in Assistant General Manager role or high school diploma with at least three years related experience
  • ability to communicate effectively via email
  • proficiency in managing and analyzing information from spreadsheets and databases
  • experience with hotel information systems
  • strong operational management experience within select service and/or extended stay hotels
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality management or related field
  • minimum one year experience as Assistant General Manager or equivalent leadership role in hospitality
  • proficient computer skills including email communication, spreadsheet, and database management
  • experience with hotel information systems such as Opera and M3
  • solid operational management experience in Select Service and/or Extended Stay properties
  • excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Support the General Manager in maintaining and advancing hotel brand standards to enhance guest satisfaction
  • execute accounts receivable and payable responsibilities within the first 30 days
  • familiarize with and participate actively in HR processes including new hire onboarding
  • develop staff optimization plans ensuring newly hired and current leaders understand their mission and have necessary tools for exceptional service
  • interact effectively with hotel and corporate leadership to support operational goals
  • manage strategic planning while maintaining hands-on involvement in daily operations
  • monitor market share and pursue growth opportunities from local competition
