Job Requirements
- Pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
- Ability to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch and reach
- Ability to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and lift or carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Ability to see and hear
- Ability to perform major life activities including learning, concentrating, reading and communicating
- Willingness to work any days or shifts including nights and weekends
- Ability to travel overnight periodically
- Physical presence required at hotel, no telecommuting
- Must maintain professional and friendly image at all times
- Must maintain certification from brand approved responsible vendor training
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years experience supervising at least eight associates
- Three years experience in the hotel industry
- Prior experience working in Hilton or Marriott family of hotels preferred
- Knowledge of property management systems
- Understanding of accounting practices as delegated
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills
- Computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under stress
- Willingness to accept constructive criticism
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day operations of front office, housekeeping and maintenance departments
- Manage personnel including hiring, training, coaching, counseling and development
- Maintain budget performance and financial controls
- Complete administrative duties including schedules, payroll, inventories and orders
- Promote positive morale and cohesive teamwork
- Maintain safety, security practices and emergency procedures knowledge
- Ensure highest quality product and service for guests
- Communicate and document using internal communication tools
- Enforce company policies and associate handbook
- Maintain certification from approved training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
