Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred
  • Must be able to stand or remain stationary for long periods
  • Ability to lift and transport supplies up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to operate computers and office equipment
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including nights and weekends
  • Ability to handle stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must be detail-oriented and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to follow company guidelines and procedures
  • Must possess good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Must have basic financial skills and understanding
  • Proficient with Windows operating systems and office software

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily and use their names when possible to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain sparkling clean workspaces including guest rooms and public areas
  • Complete operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Provide one-on-one training to new team members on service and cleanliness expectations
  • Supervise shift operations ensuring all guest needs are met
  • Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to verify cleanliness and safety
  • Assist in inventory counts and manage purchase order and invoice processes
  • Support General Manager with time clock oversight and shift handover reports
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and conduct quality assurance self-audits
  • Foster a positive team environment with clear communication and collaboration
  • Cover open department head positions as necessary
  • Oversee guest check-in and check-out processes with friendly supervision
