Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus at least one year of related Assistant General Manager experience or high school diploma or equivalent plus at least three years of related experience
- Computer skills required with ability to communicate effectively via email and manipulate data from spreadsheets and databases
- Experience with hotel information systems
- Must have solid operations manager experience within a select service and/or extended stay property
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster team cohesion
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with equivalent experience
- Strong leadership and operational management skills
- Experience in hotel information systems such as Opera and M3
- Proven ability to develop and manage teams
- Excellent communication and computer skills including email and data management
- Previous experience in select service or extended stay property management
Job Duties
- Provide strong support to the General Manager in maintaining and furthering hotel brand standards to heighten guest satisfaction
- Execute accounts receivable and payable duties within the first 30 days
- Familiarize and manage human resources processes including new hire onboarding within the first 30 days
- Develop staff optimization plans for all leaders and staff to ensure mission alignment and exceptional service delivery
- Collaborate with hotel General Manager, key leaders, corporate staff, and ownership groups as necessary
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution in a fast-paced environment
- Drive market share growth through acquisition of new business and retention of existing market segments
