Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of Assistant General Manager experience or three years of related hospitality experience
  • Proficiency with hotel information systems
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with financial operations including Accounts Receivable and Payable
  • Competency in human resources functions including onboarding and staff development

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus at least one year of related Assistant General Manager experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus at least three years of related experience
  • Experience with hotel information systems
  • Computer proficiency including email communication and data management
  • Solid operations management experience within Select Service or Extended Stay properties
  • Familiarity with Opera and M3 systems is preferred
  • Hotel industry experience is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Provide strong leadership and support to the General Manager in maintaining Hotel Brand Standards to enhance Guest Satisfaction
  • Execute all Accounts Receivable and Payable duties within the first 30 days
  • Oversee HR processes including new hire onboarding
  • Develop staff optimization plans to ensure leaders and staff understand their mission
  • Foster team cohesion and maximize employee potential
  • Drive strategic planning while managing day-to-day hotel operations
  • Cultivate market growth by increasing market share and targeting competition
