Job Requirements
- High school education required
- Minimum 2 years experience in hotel management role
- Must be able to lead a team effectively
- Available to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays and nights
- Must work without constant supervision
- Must be able to work desk shifts as needed
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school education required
- College degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in hotel operations and leadership
- Previous experience with major hotel brand is a plus
- Exceptional service orientation
- Reliable and responsible character
- Proactive approach with initiative and problem solving abilities
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiar with operation of office equipment
- Strong managerial skills
- Demonstrated initiative, leadership and team building skills
Job Duties
- Monitor and evaluate all department daily scheduling and activities to ensure the successful operation of hotel facilities, services and amenities
- Partner with GM to create a positive work environment
- Serve as a support resource for front line staff in all departments
- Conduct daily walk-through and quality checks to drive exceptional service and guest satisfaction at all points of contact, to include pre-arrival, check-in/check-out, food and beverage, transportation, housekeeping, laundry, banquets, conference services and maintenance
- Plan, organize and delegate daily operational activities against forecasted business volume
- Drive effective communication across all departments to ensure consistency, cohesiveness and understanding of objectives and priorities
- Issue supplies and equipment as needed and participate in regular inventories to ensure proper supply levels
