Job Requirements

  • regular, full-time employment
  • availability for 40 plus hours per week, including varied schedules
  • reliable transportation
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • stamina to work extended 12-hour shifts occasionally
  • ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day
  • food safety and responsible alcohol service training
  • ability to work in diverse cultural settings
  • excellent situational awareness and leadership skills

  • proficiency in general manager tasks
  • occasional travel within and out of city/state
  • computer usage up to 6 hours per day
  • ability to bend, reach, and maneuver in tight workspaces

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 3 years restaurant experience preferred
  • minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience preferred
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • financial planning and budgeting knowledge
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • ability to facilitate problem solving and team building
  • capability to deliver results through others

Job Duties

  • assist the General Manager in daily restaurant operations
  • manage customer and crew experience to ensure satisfaction
  • implement Cheba Hut policies for safety and security
  • motivate and inspire the team to achieve goals
  • recruit, hire, and train staff based on business needs
  • conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching
  • manage bar operations including inventory and scheduling
  • oversee financial planning including budgeting and cost control
  • coordinate marketing efforts and sales initiatives
  • ensure compliance with food safety and responsible alcohol service
  • uphold training standards and promote continuous staff development
