Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Progressive experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to work under pressure and handle a varied schedule
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in technology including Windows OS and company software
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability
- Must meet legal requirements for alcohol service if applicable
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to perform administrative duties including data entry and reporting
- Willingness to learn and follow established guidelines
- Must maintain professional appearance and wear approved uniform
- Ability to conduct inspections and adhere to safety standards
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use the guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Use approved technology relevant to the role
- Answer incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces sparkling clean and well-organized
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Always greet guests happily by name while cleaning
- Ensure all operational checklists are completed accurately and on time
- Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed per guidelines
- Communicate clearly, honestly and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate willingness to stretch beyond traditional role to meet business needs
- Collaborate to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace
- Conduct daily supervision including guest rooms and public spaces
- Provide one-on-one training to new team members
- Manage shifts to verify friendly service and guest needs are met
- Supervise peak check-in/check-out and meal periods
- Foster an environment of happy team members and happy guests
- Verify daily room inspections and cleanliness adherence
- Assist in inventory counts as directed
- Support onboarding process for new team members
- Review and verify team member time clock punches
- Ensure daily summary and night audit processes are completed
- Oversee purchase order process and invoice submission
- Process invoices in proper time periods
- Ensure adherence to brand Quality Assurance expectations
- Certify fire and life safety inspections are current
- Escalate service/delivery failures properly
- Confirm preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensure team members adhere to work schedules
- Cover open department head positions when necessary
- Start and complete shift handover reports
- Sign off and upload daily reports
