Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel management or a similar supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of hotel financials and budgeting
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism

Job Duties

  • Generates through proper supervision of assigned departments projected revenue levels as well as guest satisfaction
  • Participates in the development of short term and long term financial and operational plans for the hotel
  • Remains current on business trends and local activities
  • Meets assigned departmental budgets and monitors financial statements
  • Establishes and maintains an appropriate level of community involvement
  • Ensures proper handling of guest complaints
  • Assists in the development of new programs which results in an increased level of guest satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties
  • Ensures cross-selling of other Shamin Hotels by hotel staff
  • Teaches, mentors, and directs hotel staff
  • Maintains high visibility and leadership role within the hotel and community
