Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area
  • or two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with four years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related field
  • or two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with two years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related field

Job Duties

  • Verify that all brand standards are maintained across property departments
  • manage the operation of all property departments
  • promote Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies
  • maintain a viable key control program
  • manage finance and accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, payroll, ordering procedures, end-of-period banking, and PAFs
  • review financial statements, sales, and performance reports to identify cost reduction and program improvement opportunities
  • comply with corporate accounting procedures
  • perform annual Quality audit with General Manager and Regional Director
  • support and develop departmental teams by providing clear communication and coaching
  • assist team managers with scheduling to meet guest and operational goals
  • set performance expectations with the General Manager
  • solicit feedback for continuous improvement
  • provide excellent customer service by being available and approachable to guests
  • motivate staff to resolve guest and employee concerns
  • take proactive approaches when dealing with guest issues
  • assist employees in understanding and exceeding guest expectations
  • ensure thorough and timely orientation of new employees
  • verify hiring practices comply with I-9 and EEO requirements
  • promote a culturally diverse workplace
  • perform other duties as assigned and needed
