Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one-year supervisory or management experience in fitness, spa, hotel or hospitality industry
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to complete upon hire
  • Ability to demonstrate experience in budget development and financial analysis
  • High degree of self-organization and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or fitness-related field is a plus
  • Minimum of one-year supervisory or management experience in fitness, spa, hotel or hospitality industry
  • Experience in a health club environment in operations, fitness or sales preferred but not required
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to complete upon hire
  • Experience in budget development and financial analysis
  • High degree of self-organization and discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel

Job Duties

  • Assist the General Manager in the oversight of club operations, business and performance objectives
  • Manage financial performance of multiple departments through achievement of sales, revenue targets, expense management, planning and forecasting
  • Monitor level and quality of service through frequent customer interaction and club walk-throughs
  • Ensure all managed departments are trained and certified in emergency response, first aid and CPR
  • Routinely inspect the facility, equipment, landscaping and surrounding property
  • Inspect the facility to ensure proper preventative and routine maintenance mechanisms are in place
  • Ensure the club meets all applicable safety protocols
