Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in hotel management
  • leadership experience in hospitality
  • ability to work full time
  • strong communication skills
  • availability to work on-site
  • skills in budgeting and strategic planning

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with Fosse management required
  • Marriott experience preferred but not required
  • proven leadership and team management skills
  • strong understanding of hotel budgeting and forecasting
  • knowledge of Marriott brand standards and company policies
  • excellent problem-solving and guest service skills
  • ability to manage multiple departments effectively

Job Duties

  • Assist in leading and managing all hotel operations including budgeting and forecasting
  • perform strategic planning and manage balanced scorecard performance
  • implement and comply with company policies and brand standards
  • oversee sales and marketing initiatives
  • respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns
  • serve as multi-department head for Maintenance and Housekeeping
  • recruit, hire, train, supervise, assess, coach, counsel, and recognize department heads
  • oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and financial measurement
  • identify operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures
  • ensure guest and team member satisfaction
  • serve as General Manager in their absence
