Job Requirements

  • Passion for working with seniors
  • prior luxury hospitality leadership experience required
  • college degree preferred and may be required per state or province requirements
  • previous management experience including hiring, coaching, performance management, supervision, and discipline
  • demonstrated success in managing operating expenses
  • ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
  • ability to delegate assignments appropriately
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills including small group facilitation
  • proficient organizational and time management skills
  • demonstrates good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • proficient in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and Sunrise applications
  • must meet Sunrise vehicle safety and regulatory requirements if applicable
  • ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours during peak service periods

Job Duties

  • Communicate a clear customer-focused vision based upon resident experience
  • model a strong belief in mission, vision, and purpose
  • provide support to the General Manager by following through on community goals and assignments
  • commit to the training requirements of Sunrise University
  • identify development opportunities and build relationships for growth
  • lead and oversee food and beverage operations ensuring quality and financial performance
  • manage concierge, security, and housekeeping teams
  • oversee resident programming and engaging activities
  • recruit, train, coach, and develop department leaders and staff
  • address resident needs and concerns promptly
  • act as General Manager in their absence
  • maintain proactive communication with residents
  • ensure quality care and service delivery
  • develop and enforce corrective actions based on quality reviews
  • ensure compliance with all regulations and safety procedures
  • assist in achieving financial targets and managing budgets
  • support sales and marketing efforts
  • resolve customer concerns and participate in resident council meetings
  • exceed performance goals consistently
  • support team conflict resolution and maintain high performance standards
  • prioritize tasks, manage meetings efficiently, and communicate priorities effectively
  • comply with regulations and maintain proactive decision-making
  • perform other duties as assigned
