Job Requirements
- Education in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Proven experience in hotel management or assistant general manager role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Proficiency with Fosse PMS software
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
- Willingness to be a team player and work collaboratively
- Capacity to manage multiple operational areas simultaneously
Job Qualifications
- Experience with Fosse PMS software
- Prior leadership or management experience in hospitality
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards
- Ability to effectively manage multiple departments
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Preferred experience with Marriott systems and brand standards
- Ability to coach and develop staff
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting
Job Duties
- Assist in leading, directing and managing all hotel operations including budgeting and forecasting
- Assist in strategic planning and managing balanced scorecard performance
- Implement and comply with all company policies and brand standards
- Oversee sales and marketing initiatives
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns
- Serve as multi-department head for Maintenance and Housekeeping
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, assessing, coaching, counseling, and recognizing department heads
- Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, and financial measurement
- Identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures
- Ensure guest and team member satisfaction
- Act as General Manager in his or her absence
