Job Requirements

  • Education in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in hotel management or assistant general manager role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Proficiency with Fosse PMS software
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Willingness to be a team player and work collaboratively
  • Capacity to manage multiple operational areas simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with Fosse PMS software
  • Prior leadership or management experience in hospitality
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple departments
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred experience with Marriott systems and brand standards
  • Ability to coach and develop staff
  • Familiarity with budgeting and financial forecasting

Job Duties

  • Assist in leading, directing and managing all hotel operations including budgeting and forecasting
  • Assist in strategic planning and managing balanced scorecard performance
  • Implement and comply with all company policies and brand standards
  • Oversee sales and marketing initiatives
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns
  • Serve as multi-department head for Maintenance and Housekeeping
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, assessing, coaching, counseling, and recognizing department heads
  • Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance, and financial measurement
  • Identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures
  • Ensure guest and team member satisfaction
  • Act as General Manager in his or her absence
