Job Requirements

  • Perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending and twisting for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50lbs
  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in hotel leadership
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong team building skills

Job Duties

  • Train and provide guidance to staff
  • Discuss staff performance discrepancies and training needs with General Manager and attend and lead staff huddles
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to ensure the team achieves outstanding results
  • Post checks in PMS, complete weekly labor tracker, manage payment due reports, postpaid outs and receipts
  • Ensure the hotel is always guest ready by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and addressing guest concerns swiftly
  • Assign rooms to be cleaned by housekeeping and assist General Manager in room inspections
  • Manage inventory, check property email, build relationships with vendors and guests, and foster teamwork
  • Network within the local community to promote the property and build strong relationships with competitive properties, local organizations, and key clients
  • Lead in-house guest sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy
  • Assist with housekeeping duties and daily laundry and public space maintenance as needed
  • Cover employee shifts to ensure operational continuity
  • Know and follow property emergency procedures and ensure security of the property and guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned
