Job Requirements

  • Must pass appropriate security clearance per company policy
  • Two years experience supervising at least eight associates
  • Ability to perform major life activities including standing, lifting, bending, learning, reading, concentrating, thinking and communicating
  • Must be able to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch and reach
  • Must be able to see and hear
  • Must be able to speak and read English
  • Professionalism, honesty and trustworthiness at all times
  • Flexibility regarding work schedule including weekends, holidays and on-call availability

Job Qualifications

  • Two years experience supervising at least eight associates
  • Knowledge of supervisory skills including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, documenting and motivating
  • Familiarity with property management systems
  • Understanding of accounting practices as delegated
  • Knowledge of all functions, procedures and policies of supervised departments
  • Awareness of local area shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions
  • Ability to check daily hotel operations and be up to date on changes and new procedures
  • Understanding of property, staff, services, hours of operation, room types, locations, rates and discounts
  • Computer literacy to operate property management system including posting charges, computing bills, collecting payments and making change
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to train and develop associates through meetings and logs
  • Capability to analyze work for accuracy of self and others
  • Multi-tasking and maintaining guest service centricity
  • Professionalism and trustworthiness

Job Duties

  • Maintain a professional cohesive team by hiring, training, coaching, counseling and developing the most qualified individuals
  • Promote positive morale and friendly attitudes
  • Complete administrative duties in a timely manner including schedules, payroll, inventories, orders, production controls
  • Work within budgeted guidelines for maximum revenues and within labor models
  • Maintain safety and security practices and have thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
  • Ensure guests are provided with the highest quality product and service
  • Communicate and document using internal means such as logs, bibles, innovations, email
  • Maintain certification from a brand approved responsible vendor training program
  • Perform other duties as assigned that the associate is capable of performing
