Job Requirements

  • Graduation from a 4-year accredited college or university or equivalent combination of work experience and education
  • previous assistant general manager experience or 10+ years of senior club leadership experience
  • experience in the hospitality industry required
  • ability to develop reports business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • excellent analytical organizational written and verbal communication skills
  • strong planning problem-solving delegation time management supervisory and employee development skills
  • flexible schedule including days evenings holidays weekends and occasional travel
  • valid driver’s license

Job Qualifications

  • Graduation from a 4-year accredited college or university or equivalent combination of work experience and education
  • graduation from a 4-year accredited college or university or equivalent with emphasis in hospitality management
  • previous assistant general manager experience or 10+ years of senior club leadership experience
  • three to five years event planning budgeting and supervisory experience preferred
  • previous knowledge or experience working in a homeowner association preferred
  • experience in the hospitality industry required
  • Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) certification or similar preferred
  • computer literacy with high proficiency in Microsoft Office PC and AI technology
  • ability to develop reports business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • ability to speak effectively before groups of homeowners board members committee members guests and team members
  • must possess basic computational ability and budgetary analysis skills
  • excellent analytical organizational written and verbal communication skills
  • strong planning problem-solving decision-making delegation time management supervisory and employee development skills
  • initiative and independent decision-making ability
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with continuous improvement mindset

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across departments ensuring smooth functioning
  • foster and maintain positive relationships with homeowners addressing concerns promptly
  • manage mentor and motivate department heads and staff providing guidance on policies and service standards
  • collaborate with event planners vendors and departments to organize and execute events and social gatherings
  • assist in developing managing and monitoring budgets for fiscal responsibility
  • support the General Manager in strategic planning for club growth and homeowner engagement
  • ensure upkeep cleanliness and maintenance of all facilities including dining and recreational areas
  • coordinate with suppliers and service providers to manage supplies and contracts
  • ensure compliance with local regulations health and safety standards and internal policies
  • act as liaison between General Manager and departments ensuring clear communication
  • address operational challenges and homeowner concerns proactively with efficient solutions
  • stay informed of industry trends best practices and emerging technologies
  • create programs including activities events enrichment culinary arts and travel for homeowners
  • maintain superior customer service standards
  • provide strategic intelligence on vision branding food and beverage and operations
  • assist in establishing goals and processes for sales revenue and business development
  • supervise team members and support hiring processes
  • assist with budget planning revenue and expense monitoring
  • review and approve food and beverage strategies
  • serve as Manager on Duty when General Manager is unavailable
  • oversee food and beverage clubhouse gate interior facilities maintenance and fitness operations
  • perform other assigned duties
