Job Requirements

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand or remain stationary for long periods
  • Ability to operate computers and office machinery including 10-key data entry
  • Capability to bend, stoop, crouch, lift up to 25 pounds and move throughout the hotel
  • Ability to visually inspect details at close and long range
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Capable of writing routine reports and business correspondence in English
  • Must read and interpret business and statistical reports
  • Employee must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily

  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
  • Basic knowledge of the local market
  • Preference for candidates with a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant or service industry preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Conduct daily supervision walks including guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and equipment functionality
  • Provide one-on-one training to new team members on service and checklist expectations
  • Verify completion of daily room inspections and adherence to cleanliness standards
  • Manage shift handover reports accurately and on time
  • Assist in completing inventory counts as directed
  • Support onboarding processes for new team members
  • Monitor team member adherence to established work schedules
  • Cover open department head positions when necessary
  • Oversee purchase order process and invoice signoff in compliance with company policies
  • Ensure adherence to brand Quality Assurance standards through audits and corrections
  • Certify all fire and life safety inspections are current and deficiencies corrected
  • Address and escalate service or delivery failures appropriately
  • Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are performed and meet quality standards
  • Foster a culture of communication, collaboration, and positivity among team members
  • Supervise during peak check-in, check-out, and meal periods to ensure guest satisfaction
