Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple departments
  • Strong financial management skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA and compliance requirements
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Effective employee coaching and counseling ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial acumen with experience in managing accounting functions
  • Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations
  • Customer service excellence
  • Ability to coach and develop staff
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools and staff management

Job Duties

  • Verifies that all brand standards are maintained in each area of the property
  • Manages operations of all property departments
  • Promotes Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies
  • Maintains safe working environment in compliance with OSHA/MSDS
  • Manages finance and accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and banking procedures
  • Reviews financial statements and performance data for cost reduction and program improvement
  • Supports and coaches team managers in scheduling and staffing to exceed guest expectations
  • Leads by example demonstrating energy, confidence, and enthusiasm
  • Provides excellent customer service and proactively addresses guest concerns
  • Ensures thorough orientation and training of new team members
  • Verifies compliance with hiring practices including I-9 and EEO requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
