Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 years' experience in hotel leadership roles
  • ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • proficiency in computer use
  • effective communication skills
  • availability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in hotel leadership, including front desk and back-of-house operations
  • proficient computer skills
  • strong team building skills
  • excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • effective oral and written communication skills
  • proactive in solving problems

Job Duties

  • Train and provide guidance to staff
  • discuss staff performance discrepancies and training needs with General Manager
  • attend and lead staff huddles
  • provide hands-on support to ensure the team achieves outstanding results
  • post checks in PMS and manage payment due reports
  • complete weekly labor tracker
  • postpaid outs and receipts
  • ensure the hotel is always guest ready by maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • swiftly address guest concerns
  • monitor and follow up on guest feedback
  • suggest and sell amenities
  • ensure guest and property security
  • assign rooms to be cleaned by housekeeping and aid General Manager in inspecting rooms
  • manage inventory
  • check property email
  • build relationships with vendors and guests
  • foster teamwork
  • network within the local community to promote the property
  • build strong relationships with competitive properties, local organizations, and key clients
  • lead in-house guest sales and marketing initiatives
  • assist with housekeeping, laundry duties, and public space needs as required
  • cover employee shifts as needed
  • know and follow property emergency procedures
  • ensure security needs of property and guests
  • perform other duties as assigned
