Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
  • Ability to stand during entire shift
  • Long hours sometimes required
  • Ability to convey information and ideas clearly

Job Duties

  • Ensure guest satisfaction and overall efficiency of front office operations
  • Train front office staff as outlined in the Front Office Training Procedures
  • Hire, train, and supervise property front office staff
  • Prepare work schedules and authorize payroll for the department based on approved labor standards
  • Resolve guest issues and perform tasks requiring discretion and authority
  • Use appropriate phrases and greetings when interacting with guests
  • Maintain a positive work environment and complete staff evaluations professionally and timely
