Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, transportation management or a related field preferred
- minimum of three years management experience in paratransit or similar transportation environment
- proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and under pressure
- knowledge of contractual and regulatory requirements
- familiarity with safety and training program oversight
- willingness to perform pre-employment drug test and background check
- valid driver's license
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Must have at least three years of management experience in a similar sized paratransit environment
- experience in scheduling and personnel management and training
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- knowledge of contractual obligations related to paratransit services
- knowledge of company policies to assess driver activities consistently
- experience with Trapeze software preferred
- experience managing fast paced environment
Job Duties
- Effectively manage on-time performance and driver availability
- effectively manage all dispatch functions
- effectively manage customer relations through both direct contact and outreach programs
- identify, select, train and mentor location staff
- effectively and frequently communicate with location staff and support team members
- assist in overseeing safety and training programs, plans and processes to ensure compliance with company, contract and regulatory requirements
- contribute to maintain the safety culture of the division
- maintain client contact routinely to meet or exceed expectations
- assist with conducting periodic departmental audits
- daily, weekly and monthly review of key operational metrics
- implement, promote and adhere to company policies and procedures
- participate in location labor and employee relations activities
