Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Manage bar and shift responsibilities including opening and closing
  • plan and prepare for shifts with backup plans
  • ensure shift readiness and compliance with third-party audits
  • deploy team members and routines daily
  • oversee bar prep schedule including preparation and inventory pull
  • taste food at least twice per shift to ensure quality
  • execute flawless bar recipes
  • maintain timing, quality, and freshness of drinks
  • manage throughput of service
  • uphold safety and security standards for food and team
  • prepare the next shift for seamless transition
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitization of restaurant and bar
  • execute rollouts and IT procedures
  • assist in kitchen operations including food ordering, waste management, inventory control, food cost monitoring, and recipe execution
  • ensure timing, quality, and freshness of food
  • oversee guest comments and mystery shops
  • conduct interviewing, hiring, and onboarding
  • forecast team and business needs
  • provide initial and cross-training education
  • perform team member evaluations, communication, and terminations
  • manage daily development plans and shift handoffs
  • facilitate restaurant team meetings
  • provide on-stage management and coaching
  • create a positive atmosphere and vibe
  • mentor shift supervisors
  • continuously teach, train, and coach team members
  • manage sales, forecasting, and budgeting
  • handle guest feedback and promotions
