Job Requirements

  • high school education
  • degree in hotel management, business or related major
  • five or more years of related experience
  • knowledge of accounting and budgeting
  • ability to analyze data and make sound business decisions
  • leadership and management skills
  • excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • legal eligibility for employment
  • ability to travel
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • five or more years of related experience
  • advanced knowledge of housekeeping and hotel service principles
  • familiarity with hospitality industry practices
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • assist the general manager in overseeing hotel operations
  • direct guest service, engineering, rooms, food and beverage, accounting and human resources
  • manage assigned staff and indirectly supervise all subordinates
  • align operations with company direction, brand standards and regulations
  • recommend budgets, business plans and capital expenditures
  • ensure quality service and meet financial goals
  • plan short and long term operations
  • communicate company goals to staff
