Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient in Windows operating systems and company-approved software
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain professionalism
  • Must be attentive to detail and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills required
  • Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages at select properties
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to perform assigned duties and comply with company policies
  • Must be able to stand or remain in place for long periods
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service
  • Ensure all workspaces are kept sparkling clean and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Provide one-on-one training to new team members
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs of guest rooms and public spaces to inspect cleanliness and equipment
  • Supervise shift operations ensuring friendly service and guest needs are met
  • Oversee check-in and check-out processes during peak times
  • Foster a positive culture promoting happy team members and guests
  • Assist in inventory management and purchasing processes
  • Review and process time clock punches and invoices
  • Conduct quality assurance audits and compliance checks
  • Monitor safety inspections and ensure corrections of deficiencies
  • Address service failures by proper escalation
  • Ensure adherence to work schedules and cover shifts when necessary
