  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups
  • ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization
  • attend crew interviewing workshop within 90 days of hire or promotion
  • must be serve-safe certified

Job Qualifications

  • one year certificate from college or technical school
  • three to six months related experience or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • knowledge of supervisory practices
  • familiarity with company operating systems and procedures
  • ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
  • strong communication skills
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • effective oral and written communication
  • reasoning and decision-making abilities
  • serve-safe certification

Job Duties

  • assist the general manager in managing restaurant operations
  • oversee staff performance and development
  • ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws
  • participate in achieving store objectives
  • execute training programs for crew members
  • maintain ethical business practices
  • manage daily administrative duties
