Job Requirements

  • ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift
  • capability to lift 30 to 50 pounds
  • must use motion involving pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists
  • willingness to work flexible hours including peak dining times
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant management

Job Duties

  • oversee kitchen operations and ensure food quality
  • estimate food and beverage usage and place orders with suppliers
  • total cash and charge receipts at the end of each day
  • check quality and size of food servings
  • resolve customer complaints about food or service
  • ensure cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
  • monitor staff and guests to ensure safety standards and liquor laws are followed
  • recruit, hire, orient, and train new team members
  • schedule staff to cover peak dining hours
