Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in hotel management, business or related field
  • 5 years leadership experience in hotel operations or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business records and statistical reports
  • Ability to use mathematical skills to interpret financial information and prepare budgets
  • Experience with computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and maintain high guest satisfaction
  • Ability to work overtime and irregular hours
  • Ability to lift and carry 6-25 lbs
  • Ability to walk extended distances

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in hotel management, business or related field
  • 5 years leadership experience in hotel operations or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational programs
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
  • Ability to analyze financial information and prepare budgets
  • Strong decision-making ability based on reports and experience
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal compliance regulations

Job Duties

  • Oversees rooms division, food and beverage division as well as engineering discipline
  • Oversees development of new programs that result in increased guest satisfaction and operational excellence
  • Receives and responds to guest complaints in a timely manner
  • Ensures daily inventory is managed to maximize room revenue and meet budget
  • Supervises food and beverage operations including preparation and service
  • Generates safe and secure atmosphere for guests and associates
  • Establishes and maintains cost control for rooms and food and beverage inventories
