Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Minimum 2 years restaurant management experience
  • Proficient in basic math and Point of Sale systems
  • Ability to manage scheduling, payroll, inventory and cost control
  • Ability to work standing up to 10 hours per day
  • Physical stamina to work 45-55 hours per week
  • Food safety certification required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and solve problems under pressure
  • Must be able to communicate in predominant trade language
  • Flexible with work schedule and shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
  • Have 2+ years of restaurant management experience
  • Deep love for both Front of House and Heart of House operations
  • Excellent basic math skills
  • Ability to operate a Point of Sale system
  • Experience conducting basic cash management
  • Confident running Front of House or Heart of House and able to pivot between both seamlessly
  • Experience managing scheduling, payroll, inventory and cost control systems
  • Expert communication skills with a passion for coaching and team development
  • Agile problem-solving skills and ability to adapt under pressure
  • Obtain food safety certifications
  • Up-to-date on regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership presence
  • Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s trade area

Job Duties

  • Completely understand all Snooze policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and expectations
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, courteous and exceptional service
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Snooze's recipes and Food & Beverage Doctrine, leading the team in consistent, accurate execution of all menu items across every shift
  • Continuously monitor food and beverage quality throughout each shift, ensuring every item meets Snooze's standards for taste, presentation, and temperature
  • Execute daily systems and checklists put in place to ensure recipe adherence and safety & sanitation including Snooze's Tasting Buddy, Sanitation Checks, and Quality Checks
  • Control and monitor the purchasing, receiving, inventory, and cost management of all food and beverage products
  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of the Point of Sale (POS) system and administer discounts and comps
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with Snooze policies
  • Resolve escalated guest concerns quickly, kindly, and professionally
  • Update hourly Snoozers with necessary information about the shift and initiatives through written and verbal communication
  • Manage the flow of service during shifts, ensuring an exceptional experience for guests and Snoozers while keeping operational goals top of mind
  • Monitor and evaluate Snoozer performance and lead in-the-moment coaching conversations relating to guest experience and food quality
  • Open and close the restaurant following Snooze's Open to Close guidelines
  • Conduct, monitor, and schedule hourly Snoozer training and support development of cross-training
  • Verify all equipment cleanliness and maintenance through personal inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Operate with a high level of integrity and leadership presence delivering on Snooze Leadership Principles
  • Support execution of local marketing initiatives, catering and after-hours events
  • Partner with GM to implement marketing, community engagement, and sales initiatives
  • Drive Impact initiatives and lead the Change Maker program fostering community involvement and sustainability
  • Lead both Front of House and Heart of House operations and support all restaurant areas
  • Partner with GM in disciplinary actions, performance reviews, and strategic employee development
  • Assist GM and Head Chef in paperwork including inventory, par sheets, ordering, reports and schedules
  • Maintain employment standards including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating and terminating according to policy
  • Schedule labor anticipating sales while ensuring coverage and cost objectives
  • Play a pivotal role in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training and strategic planning
  • Support GM in overseeing financial operations, budgeting and P&L targets
  • Assist with weekly payroll and accounts payable
  • Step into GM role when GM is unavailable
  • Coach Assistant Managers, Supervisors, Shift Leads and high-potential staff to support development and career growth
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor and food handling regulations
  • Create a fun, safe and rewarding work environment for all employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
