Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- must pass background check and drug test
- must have reliable transportation
- basic business math and accounting skills
- ability to clean and maintain restaurant areas including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and lifting trash containers
- able to tolerate physical demands involving standing, walking, and lifting during 80% of shift time
- strong preference for internal promotion from shift manager position
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- college or university degree preferred
- 1-3 years supervisory experience in food service or retail
- experience with profit and loss responsibility
- basic personal computer literacy
- strong communication skills
- leadership and decision-making abilities
- ability to work standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping
- positive attitude and teamwork orientation
Job Duties
- support the restaurant general manager in daily operations
- ensure team members and shift managers complete all assigned duties
- manage inventory and financial accountability
- serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner
- maintain a safe environment for employees and customers
- solve operational problems proactively
- assist with training and guiding team members
