Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • must pass background check and drug test
  • must have reliable transportation
  • basic business math and accounting skills
  • ability to clean and maintain restaurant areas including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and lifting trash containers
  • able to tolerate physical demands involving standing, walking, and lifting during 80% of shift time
  • strong preference for internal promotion from shift manager position

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • college or university degree preferred
  • 1-3 years supervisory experience in food service or retail
  • experience with profit and loss responsibility
  • basic personal computer literacy
  • strong communication skills
  • leadership and decision-making abilities
  • ability to work standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and stooping
  • positive attitude and teamwork orientation

Job Duties

  • support the restaurant general manager in daily operations
  • ensure team members and shift managers complete all assigned duties
  • manage inventory and financial accountability
  • serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner
  • maintain a safe environment for employees and customers
  • solve operational problems proactively
  • assist with training and guiding team members
