Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Five to seven years upscale food service experience
  • One year multi-unit management experience
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to constant changes
  • Attention to detail
  • Supervisory experience
  • Scheduling, training and coaching abilities
  • Problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Experience monitoring food purchasing, food costs, preparation, production and inventory
  • Budget preparation and financial monitoring abilities
  • Menu planning skills
  • Knowledge of cash handling and reconciliation
  • Familiarity with HACCP controls
  • Compliance monitoring for health and fire regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Business etiquette and client relationship skills
  • Time management proficiency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Catering experience
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification preferred

  • Menu planning experience in consultation with chefs
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliation
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls
  • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
  • Effective time management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong catering experience
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
  • Interview, hire, train and coach employees and managers
  • Participate in employee meetings and training programs
  • Maintain food cost while ensuring quality standards
  • Manage purchasing and inventory controls
  • Be knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned
