Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Progressive hospitality or service industry experience preferred
- Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcoholic beverages where applicable
- Proficient in Windows OS and company software
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to handle pressure and maintain composure
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective decision-making skills
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names when possible to make them feel welcomed
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with urgency and hospitality
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support groups and events at the hotel
- Answer incoming calls with friendly service and proper phone etiquette
- Ensure all workspaces are clean, organized, and safe
- Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests with a smile while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on schedule
- Prepare and submit shift handover reports timely
- Wear a clean, approved uniform with nametag and smile at all times
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Exhibit a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond the traditional role
- Conduct daily walks including guest rooms and public spaces for inspection
- Provide one-on-one training for new team members
- Supervise guest service team members to ensure friendly service
- Oversee peak period check-in/check-out and meal period supervision
- Foster a culture of happy team members and guests
- Verify daily room inspections adhere to cleanliness standards
- Assist with inventory counts as required
- Support onboarding of new hires
- Review time clock punches for team members daily
- Complete daily summary and night audit processes
- Manage purchase orders and invoices through approved systems and vendors
- Ensure adherence to brand Quality Assurance standards
- Certify fire and life safety inspections are current
- Escalate service or delivery failures appropriately
- Confirm preventative maintenance tasks are completed
- Monitor adherence to established work schedules
- Cover open department head positions as needed
