Job Requirements
- Ability to work shifts during various operating days and hours including opening, peak and closing shifts
- Knowledge of all applicable sanitary, safety and health standards
- Compliance with HACCP protocols
- Exempt position under Fair Labor Standards Act
- Reports to General Manager, Director of Operations, or intermediate F&B Multi Unit Manager within the location
- Willingness to work varied and rotating schedule
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to upholding company policies and procedures
- Ability to manage and lead a diverse team
- Experience with cash handling and operational reporting
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience
- Minimum of 4 years supervisory or lead experience in a casual dine restaurant or production kitchen
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents
- Comfortably converse with customers
- Knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local sanitary, safety and health standards
- Proven leadership and management skills in a restaurant environment
Job Duties
- Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures
- Assists General Manager/F&B Multi Unit Manager in supervising day-to-day activities of associates within the restaurant
- Interviews job candidates, makes hiring, termination, advancement, promotion or other status change decisions for associates
- Reads and understands financial and operational data and reports to monitor progress towards unit goals and assigns associates accordingly
- Ensures company and branch diversity and inclusion philosophy is active within the restaurant
- Uses judgment and discretion to resolve customer and associate questions and escalates complex issues as needed
- Ensures compliance with adult beverage policies and trains staff on these procedures
- Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures all shifts are covered
- Actively ensures associates take mandated rest breaks and meal periods
- Ensures display areas are clean, stocked and visually appealing
- Ensures all equipment is in good working order
- Operates cash register and voids transactions as needed while following cash handling policies
- Monitors compliance with wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns
- Performs health and safety activities as specified in manager guidelines
- Places orders, receives goods and processes invoices
- Maintains current contact information for all associates
