Job Requirements
- Education equivalent to bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5-6 years' progressive hotel management experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain warm and friendly demeanor

Job Duties
- Play a pivotal role in hotel sales efforts, including calling on top ten accounts, meeting clients, and hosting events
- Tour operating departments daily and make adjustments via department heads
- Conduct weekly staff meetings and training sessions according to Highgate standards
- Meet all financial review dates and corporate programs timely
- Hold monthly financial reviews with department managers and supervisors
- Ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity and proper accounting procedures
- Develop managers for future advancement through competency and corporate training programs
- Participate in required management coverage as scheduled
- Monitor and guide management trainees development
- Adhere to Highgate policies and train new managers on compliance
- Oversee and assist in hotel budget processes
- Ensure service standards training compliance across departments
- Create a positive, guest-focused team environment
- Inspect rooms regularly with housekeeping and engineering
- Process invoices daily using A/P processes
- Ensure timely submission of financial documents to corporate office
- Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of property
- Monitor employee interactions for attentiveness and courtesy
- Forecast hotel financial position monthly and analyze data for reforecasting
- Conduct management interviews and hiring following SOPs
- Interview final candidates for management vacancies
- Perform executive performance appraisals and ensure compliance
- Motivate, coach, counsel, and discipline management personnel
- Perform duties as requested by Vice President or Regional Director
- Ensure fair treatment of employees per SOPs
- Meet clients and prospective clients on property
- Greet guests in public areas during peak times
- Follow procedures for hotel safe security and audits
- Conduct monthly credit meetings and manage credit policies
