Job Requirements

  • Will be required to work nights, weekends and holidays

  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain

  • Knowledge of revenue management principles

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in budget and capital expenditure planning
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Skilled in conducting staff training and meetings
  • Ability to implement quality assurance processes
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain

Job Duties

  • Assist in training new associates and newly promoted associates
  • Plan, schedule, assign, direct, and review associate's work
  • Conduct or assist in conducting staff meetings
  • Adhere to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures
  • Assist General Manager with counseling associates
  • Fulfill Manager on Duty shifts
  • Assist and/or lead revenue management with implementation and execution of programs to meet room occupancy and Average Daily Rate objectives
  • Strive to increase guest satisfaction through employee development and quality image
  • Address complaints, identify and resolve problems timely
  • Assist in development and implementation of goals, policies, procedures, and priorities
  • Perform quality assurance requirements
  • Implement Brand service culture
  • Ensure orientation for new team members is thorough and timely
  • Assist team members in understanding guest service results and develop follow-up improvement plans
  • Assist GM in developing hotel budget and capital expenditure plans
  • Direct and oversee hotel operational activities and departments to maximize revenue
  • Ensure viable key control program
  • Maintain visibility and approachability for guests
  • Extend professionalism and courtesy to guests
  • Take initiative to assist or answer questions throughout the hotel
  • Assist supervisors in understanding and motivating associates
  • Create a hotel environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, teamwork and passion for service
  • Lead by example demonstrating confidence, energy and enthusiasm
  • Set clear expectations, communicate goals and recognize performance continuously
  • Encourage staff to solve guest and associate-related concerns
  • Develop cross-training opportunities
  • Network during breakfast and/or social events to uncover business needs
