Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to travel to California for training (approximately 3 months)
  • 2+ years restaurant management experience in casual or upscale casual dining
  • strong financial acumen
  • high level understanding of full service dining operations
  • sitting minimal
  • standing up to 3 hours
  • lifting up to 50lbs
  • temperature range exposure from refrigeration to hot line temps
  • applicant must be 18 years or older and able to provide documentation to work legally in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years restaurant management experience in casual or upscale casual dining
  • strong financial acumen
  • high level understanding of full service dining operations
  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
  • ability to train and develop managerial teams
  • experience conducting interviews and staffing
  • proficient in operational task management and guest service standards
  • excellent communication and leadership skills
  • knowledge of service steps, POS systems, and guest recovery techniques

Job Duties

  • Validate FOH schedules for GM review and ensure compliance with labor standards
  • submit people transactions such as promotions, demotions, and employment changes in partnership with People + Culture
  • coach and document corrective actions and performance development for FOH managers and hourly team members
  • lead training and development of Service and Assistant Service Managers to build leadership pipeline
  • conduct interviews and make hiring decisions for non-exempt BOH staff and assist in hiring managerial roles
  • ensure completion and accuracy of FOH operational tasks and guest service standards
  • teach, coach, and maintain brand standards and communicate updates to the team
  • collaborate with Bar Manager to ensure consistent guest-facing messaging
  • develop FOH staffing plans and succession strategies with GM
  • implement strategies to improve guest metrics and operational KPIs
  • lead FOH operational meetings
  • train and coach FOH team to uphold service excellence, food safety, and compliance with health standards
  • review guest feedback and collaborate on corrective action plans
  • maintain cleanliness and appearance of FOH areas
  • ensure FOH teams are certified and trained in service and safety protocols
  • validate proficiency in service steps, POS systems, and guest recovery techniques
